L'Oréal photoshoot BTS + Q&A

A short video taken behind the scenes of the photoshoot Yunjin did for L'Oréal during her stay in France for the Cannes Film Festival. They shot inside and on the rooftop of the Martinez hotel.

Yunijn supporting 'Together For Africa'

Yunjin Kim joined UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and several other Korean celebrities at the inauguration ceremony for "Together For Africa", held at the Plaza Hotel on August 12, 2011 in Seoul.
For the next three months South Korean Red Cross and UNICEF, the organizations launching the project, will be fund-raising to help children of Africa's poorest nations.

Yunjin appointed honorary ambassador for the Korean Read Cross

Last May 11th, 2011, Yunjin was appointed honorary Ambassador for the Korean Red Cross. In 2006 she had been involved with the American Red Cross, promoting the donation Campaign "Give 100, New York."

Korean actress Kim Yoon-jin has said it took her a while to decide if she wanted to play another mother role.

Kim made the remark on Thursday [December 23, 2010] during a press conference for new thriller flick "Heartbeat" [held at a Lotte Cinema in Seoul] as she explained to reporters on how she made the decision to play the role Yeon-hee.

"I didn't choose this role thinking that I will be able to express my maternal instincts once again but because the overall script was written very well", Kim said.

"Even though the storyline and appearance of the movie may be similar to the mother roles that I played in "Seven Days" and "Harmony", Yeon-hee was different in that she is fragile, feminine and very complex".

She further said, "To be honest, I needed more time to make my decision because I was hesitant since it was a maternal role but I didn't want to lose out on this great opportunity".

In the upcoming movie “The Beating Heart” (working title) top actors Kim Yun-jin and Park Hae-il fight for the lives of loved ones over one pounding heart.

At a press event for the film Monday [December 13], the two actors showed their enthusiasm and high expectations for the film, along with director Yun Jae-geun. This is Yun’s debut work.

Yunjin Ambassador for the 2013 Special Olympics

South Korea will host the 2013 Special Winter Olympics, the world-class competition for people with intellectual disabilities, the governing body announced.
Special Olympics International signed an agreement on Wednesday with the 2013 Special Olympics Preparatory Committee on holding the international competition in PyeongChang, 200 kilometers east of Seoul, in January 2013.
 
Some of the world’s top celebrities and Olympians, including California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chinese film actress Zhang Ziyi and former Olympic gymnast and vice chair of Special Olympics International Nadia Comaneci attended the ceremony marking the signing of the agreement in Seoul.
